Logo and identity design for the Ghent based restaurant Faim Fatale. The logo design tackles the word play in Faim Fatale visually by reversing the type but keeping optimal legibility. The identity plays with the subtle balance between classic and contemporary referencing the attitude of the restaurant. The typography is based on classical, old-fashioned typography but is playfully approached by the absurd positioning of punctuation marks. Additionally, the style of communication in both the menu's and the business cards is direct and speaks to the reader in a witty and entertaining manner.
